A singletrack paralles the highway on the west side for about 5 miles and its obvious. Once you see giant pwerlines ahead, take a right on nebulous trails towards the hills. You are hooting for a low gap about 300 yards north from where the powerlines come down from the hills. Singletrack becomes obvious as you enter the main gully and is sometimes covored with cow manure here. |

Mr. Toads Wild Ride is one of Lake Tahoe;s Premier technical rides. This ride is one of my favorites! It is one of the finest downhills in the Lake Tahoe region as well. It is a somewhat difficult one with over 3200 vertical feet of climbing involved, but one you get to the topit is all downhill! The descent from Tucker flat is a techinal test trail combines ecpansive views, Meadows, and forests into the special ride. |
